Services
Harm Reduction Resource Distribution
In collaboration with the Greater Hartford Harm Reduction Coalition, we bring harm reduction resources - from syringe exchange services to safer injection, sex, and smoking kits to the streets of Middletown through our mobile rover distribution program.
Overdose Response Training
In Middletown CT, we’re working with a team of community members and recovery coaches to bring high-quality, culturally cognizant naloxone training sessions to community centers. If you’re interested in attending a session or hosting space for a training, please reach out to us via the “Contact Us” link at the top of the page.
Patient Advocacy
We’re committed to ensuring that the overdose response system in Middlesex County is one that values the careful treatment of vulnerable patients. In the coming year, we’re working to bring patient advocates on scene, in the ambulance, and in the hospital setting to amplify patient autonomy - no matter what state they’re in - their voice deserves to be heard.
Community Awareness
We’re in constant collaboration with local researchers, mental health and community services, health centers, and hospitals in an effort understand the ins and outs of the opioid epidemic in our region with integrity and commitment. We bring these findings to our trainings and ensure that our team has the most up-to-date and scientifically backed knowledge.
